Star Wars Episode One

Science FictionHOLLYWOOD (May, 1999) - Sony Classical Records and award-winning composer John Williams present the original score for Star Wars: Episode I—The Phantom Menace, from 20th Century Fox Films. Starring Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Natalie Portman, this George Lucas sci-fi thriller invokes an incredible sense of hopefulness that once again the Jedi warriors will conquer all in the infinite battle for freedom from the Dark Side.

The musical score was composed and conducted entirely by John Williams, who also worked with Lucas on the first three Star Wars movies. The London Symphony Orchestra, London Voices, and the New London Children's Choir lend their talents to this dynamic recording.

The music is classic Williams: loud, exciting, and energetic brass sections throughout the piece, accompanied by softer, quieter, and more romantic parts. The music takes you on a emotional journey as the viewer follows the Jedi warriors in their battle against the Empire.
