ACTIVE BUTTONS: Navigation, Audio, Phone, Volume & Sounds, Safety Systems, and More....

1) 'Driver Assistance' is a reasonable nav button label for drivers who are familiar with Infiniti's branding of its warning and intervention systems, but Safety Systems is more clear and obvious to everyone about what preferences are going to be set when one selects that button. Also, I recommend on that Safety Systems page that Infiniti add additional settings for Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) and Daytime Running Lights to that screen, which would mean 'Driver Assistance' wouldn't be entirely accurate anymore. Therefore, I recommend changing 'Driver Assistance' to Safety Systems in the nav.

Also, because drivers are more likely to adjust the Safety Systems settings more often than Eco Pedal ('ECO DRIVE'), I recommend reversing those respective buttons' positions.

2) The 'ECO DRIVE' nav button is in all capital letters for no justifiable reason. Also, the menu to which that links only allows adjustments to the Eco Pedal, not the entire entire Eco Drive system. Therefore, I recommend re-labeling that link Eco Pedal (in title case, not all caps) since such label is more accurate, and title case is more consistent with the rest of the interface.

3) For the 'Volume & Beeps' label, 'Beeps' seems a bit too colloquial for a high-end navigation system. Therefore, I recommend changing that nav button to Volume & Sounds.

4) While 'Others' is an acceptable choice to indicate that more settings are available, More... is even clearer, with the ellipse reinforcing that a second page will contain additional Settings selections. Therefore, I recommend changing the 'Others' nav button to More... .

5) Finally, a glaring inconsistency with the Settings menu is that the physical button on the center console is singular ('Setting') instead of plural, so the button doesn't match its own screen's branding. Therefore, for consistency, I recommend that Infiniti re-label that console button on future vehicles as SETTINGS. I'm sure Infiniti can make that final 'S' fit!
