1) I recommend moving the DivX Registration Code nav button to the bottom of the menu list since it's probably used less than any of the other settings. 2) More importantly, I recommend adding a new nav button, Reverse Menu Control Switch below Display Album Cover Art. When activated, this nav button will cause the steering wheel menu control switch to function like it did prior to the 2011 model year, namely that pressing UP on the switch will always select the previous track/station up on the list (whether such list is displayed or not), and pressing DOWN on the switch will always select the next track/station down on the list (whether such list is displayed or not). Currently, when a list of tracks/stations is displayed, pressing up on the menu control switch does indeed move the selection up a level (to the previous track/station), but when a list of tracks/stations isn't displayed, this functionality gets reversed, so that pressing up on the menu control switch selects the next numerically-higher station/track (the next track/station). Having the functionality of the menu control switch change based on whether a list of tracks/stations is shown vs. when no list is shown can be very confusing and frustrating to owners of older Infiniti Ms. It's very disorienting to have the menu control switch now act backwards to what we've been used to for years! Rather than making a unilateral decision to reverse the functionality, I strongly suggest adding this preference setting so everyone will be happy. |
